Meetup “Active Participation” #1

The meetup “Gelebte Beteiligung” offers a new exchange format for participation officers from the districts, the Kiezlabor, the Berlin Senate administrations and other actors from practice, politics and civil society. The aim is to learn from each other, to make participation formats visible and to jointly tackle structural challenges in the city’s participation culture. 

The Meetup is open to all people who are involved in citizen participation in Berlin – whether in administration, in the neighborhood, in civil society organizations or in projects. 

Each edition of the Meetup focuses on different perspectives, formats or target groups and invites informal conversations, exchange at eye level and inspiration through practical insights. 

The first edition on October 7 – How do you achieve good participation in a colorful Berlin?

The first issue is dedicated to the topic: How to achieve good participation in a colorful Berlin

We would like to start a conversation with a professional impulse from Tobias Stapf (Minor Kontor) and Henriette Schleinstein (Treptow-Köpenick District Office).
This time, the focus is on the aspect of social diversity. The arc spans from arriving in Berlin to getting involved on site in the neighborhood. The aim is to learn from each other, to make participation formats sustainable and to jointly address structural challenges in the city’s participation culture.
